The grading was held at the Baglan Community Centre, the<em> &#8220;temporary&#8221; <\/em>new home of the Afan Lido Karate Club.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Welsh Bushi-Kai Instructors who conducted the course &amp; gradings were Percy Brown &#8211; 6th Dan, Owen Cranfield &#8211; 5th Dan, Paul Bridge &#8211; 5th Dan and Mark and Natacha Coleman &#8211; 3rd Dans.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 24 students attended the course and went on to attempt their grade examinations. Regrettably, 2 of our students did not perform to the best of their ability and were unsuccessful in gaining their grade &#8211; this time. No doubt that with a little more time and effort they will \u00a0make the necessary step up to attain their grade at the next opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>The WBK would like to thank the Dan grades who assisted the examiners throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>The next WBK Brown Belt grading will take place in May 2011 &#8211; Full details of next years WBK events will be added to this website as soon as we recieve confirmation from the various venue management.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BROWN BELT GRADING REPORT Congratulations to all of our students who passed their grade examination on Saturday.
