Also present was Jordan Hopkins, as a Karate Wales accredited coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sam Waters &#8211; this level of competition is a big step up from the norm and Sam fought with great passion and ability but was unfortunate to lose out in the early rounds in a &#8220;First to Score&#8221; situation. as disappointed as he was to lose, Sam can be very proud of his performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ruby Davies &#8211; Ruby excelled from her first round match and her experience shone through. Intelligent tactics, movement &amp; speed of technique took Ruby to the Semi Final where she narrowly missed out on making the final.
