WBK Dan Grading

Yesterday, the Welsh Bushi-Kai held a Dan Grade Examination at our Baglan Dojo

Many Congratulations to Richard Evans and Sean O’Brien for successfully passing their Nidan (2nd Dan) grading.
Some excellent karate was displayed  and the improvements made since your assessment have been exceptional. The dedication and sheer hard work put in these past few months and during the week-long course paid off.
A credit to the WBK

Dan Grade Examiners were:
Paul Bridge 6th Dan, Jordan Hopkins 4th Dan, Anthony Bridge 4th Dan, Danny Flynn 4th Dan,
Joanne John 3rd Dan & Morgan Phillips 3rd Dan.

Paul James 6th Dan

At the WBK Development Tournament held on Dec 3rd,  I had the privilege on behalf of the WBK Executive Committee to award Paul James his well deserved 6th Dan.
Paul achieved his 1st Dan under our founder, Ritchie Noblett, 28 years ago to the date, making today even more important to mark this accolade. Paul is an outstanding karate-ka in all its aspects. Many of us have had the pleasure to compete against and alongside him on the tatami, with some very memorable scraps over the years.
Paul is an amazing coach and even better person! Thank you for all these years of supporting the WBK and the ever growing friendship we have.
Congratulations once again Paul and to everyone at Broadwell Karate
