Brown Belt Grading:

B.U.C.S Karate Championships:
Congratulations to Ebony Bansair from our Swansea University Club on winning Gold in the Female Novice Middleweight Kumite Category.
Well done to the Uni squad on some great performances throughout the weekend.

A.M.A Championships:
Another great result for Rebecca Hole from our Gilfach Goch club who recently won Gold as part of the Royal Navy Karate Team.

KYU GRADE COURSE & GRADING
Sunday 4th November saw the WBK hold the last Kyu Grading of 2018. once again, we congratulate everyone who took part in the course, grading and Senior grade course.
Well done to everyone who passed their grade examination.

SENIOR DAN GRADE PROMOTION – Danny Flynn 4th Dan
During the Kyu Grading, held on 4th November, WBK Chief Instructor Percy Brown, on behalf of the WBK EXEC, presented Danny Flynn with a certificate confirming his promotion to 4th Dan.
Danny, who trains with us at our Baglan Dojo, is a well respected Karate-Ka whose dedication, commitment and loyalty to the WBK deserves recognition.

Sunday September 30th saw the 2018 WBK Dan Grading take place at our Cwmafan Club.
Prior to the start of the Grading, the WBK Dan Grade Examiners presented Jordan Hopkins and Anthony Bridge, two exceptional Karate-Ka, with their 4th Dan Grade.
The Grading itself was of a very high standard and we would like to congratulate all of the students on passing the examination.

1st Dan: Daniel Howard, Ruby Davies, Kira Davies, Isabelle O’Leary, Matilda O’Leary, Mark O’Leary & Brian Davies.
2nd Dan: Gareth Thomas, Josh Dwyer & Harrison Williams.
