The Blocks course took place on 18/06/16 at our Cwmafan Dojo, and was conducted by Nigel Taylor 6th Dan  plus several of our Senior Dan Grades. The course was very well attended with students able to go through all the Sanbon, Ohyo and Kihon Kumite techniques required for their grading.

The third of the Dan Grade Courses took place at our Baglan club on 18/07/16. Course Instructors on the day were Percy Brown & Paul Bridge, 6th Dan.
This course was targeted at the Basics and Combination techniques set out in the Dan Grade Syllabus.

With the Kata, Blocks and Basics courses now completed, we can now look forward to the first Dan Grade Assessment, which takes place on August 20th.

Finally, Congratulations to all of the students who attended the Kyu Grade Course & Gradings held at Cwrt Herbert in Neath on 10/07/16. a great turn out for the early morning course, followed by a very good standard Grade examination.

Sifu Steve Babbs R.I.P

The WelshBushi-Kai would like to offer our condolences to the family and friends of Sifu Steve Babbs, who has sadly passed away.
Steve was a long time friend and supporter of our Association and of Shihan Ritchie Noblett and will be sorely missed throughout the Martial Arts world,
Steve was an exceptionally gifted fighter who inspired a generation of fighters through his abilities as a Lau Gar, Kung Fu  exponent and as a pioneer and Champion in British KickBoxing.
A mighty and fierce competitor on the mats or in the ring, a gentleman outside the arena.
British Martial Arts has lost one of its finest ……. R.I.P Steve
