BANZI CUP SUCCESS FOR THE BUSHI-KAI !
Flying The Flag for Welsh Karate
At last weekends Banzai Cup event in Berlin, the Welsh Bushi-Kai again showed why we are at the forefront of competition Karate in Wales – Winning 3 Golds, 1 Silver and 7 Bronze Medals.
The event itself was huge, nearly 1000 competitors and 8 tatami running flat out throughout the day, meant a long and arduous day finishing up at around 11pm. As well as our medal winners, all of our fighters fought magnificently, with several just missing out by losing at the Quarter Final Stage.
Our congratulations to the squad on representing your Association ( and your Country) so well. We would like also to congratulate and thank ,the Squad Coaches – ( Nigel and Mark) and also our travelling band of family and friends for providing such excellent support throughout the weekend. All in all, a great trip and a great experience.
